Computed Tomography Tech

Position Summary:
Join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team in a specialized imaging role where you'll be integral to delivering exceptional services across ultrasound, CT scans, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. As a CT/X-Ray Technologist, you'll perform a broad range of imaging and clinical tasks, with the opportunity to apply advanced imaging techniques. You will also play a key role in assisting Radiologists with complex interventional procedures that require CT guidance. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional.
  • Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients.
  • Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images.
  • Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging.
  • Examining images to ensure they're usable.
  • Updating patient medical information.
  • Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment.
  • Keeping an inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required).
  • Licensure / Certification:
    • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification (required).
    • Current Basic Life Support certification (required).
    • Texas Department of State Health certification (required).
  • Experience:
    • 1 year of related experience (preferred).
