Your role as an Optician will be to help patients find the best options in frames and lenses to suit their lifestyle needs and make professional recommendations to ensure they are achieving their best vision.
Some of the responsibilities that an Optician will be responsible each day:
  • Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
  • Verifying insurance benefits and calculating patient responsibility.
  • Selecting and ordering eyewear for patients.
  • Making small repairs and adjustments for eyeglasses.
  • Ensuring that patient experience from start to finish is the best in the business.
  • Encouraging and supporting their team by communicating effectively and helping each other reach a common goal.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Optician Roles begin at $17/hr with extremely aggressive/obtainable commissions and spiff structure.
