Job description

Responsibilities:

Implement ArgoCD to deploy our internal DevOps tools currently running in Kubernetes/OpenShift.

Establish foundations for future application deployments to Kubernetes/OpenShift within The Client.

Continuously enhance our Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment capabilities through automation and industry best practices.

Participate in Design Review meetings and Code Review meetings.

Conduct training and information sharing sessions with internal customers.

Stay updated on industry trends, particularly related to Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment.

Coach junior team members on technical skills and best practices.

Skills:

Advanced deployment automation using ArgoCD (MUST) and Helm (MUST).

Experience in a 24x7 operational environment and working with internal/external customers (DESIRABLE).

Experience in DevOps supporting CI/CD tool chain with a minimum of 3 years and an ideal of 5 years.

Experience with AWS/cloud, infrastructure-as-code, Terraform (A PLUS).

Experience with Cloudbees SDA (Software Delivery Automation), CI, CDRO (DESIRABLE).

Experience with securing pipelines with Hashicorp Vault (A PLUS).

Experience writing Jenkins scripted and/or declarative pipelines (DESIRABLE).

Mastery of RHEL and Openshift or generic Kubernetes platforms and container concepts.

Practical experience with Podman (preferred) or Docker, and the ability to operate on containers in a RHEL environment (A PLUS).

Working knowledge of CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible Automation Platform (DESIRABLE).
