Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
At Independence Home Health, we desire to provide quality professional medical care while emphasizing the importance of individual freedom.
We understand the concept of
"Home"

Through our many years in the home care field we have seen when the customer and/or family has an active part in the planning and implementation in the plan of care, a sense of belonging and self-worth surfaces which ultimately produces increased quality of life, therefore enhancing the holistic healing process.

A: To succeed as a Home Health CNA, core technical skills include providing basic patient care, administering medications, and performing vital sign checks, as well as understanding medical terminology and following treatment plans. Soft skills such as empathy, effective communication, and the ability to work independently are also crucial, as Home Health CNAs often interact with patients in their own homes and must be able to build trust and rapport with them. Q: What is the career path for a Home Health CNA?

A: A Home Health CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) typically starts as an entry-level caregiver, providing hands-on care to patients in their homes, and progresses to mid-level roles such as Team Lead or Clinical Coordinator, overseeing daily operations and coordinating care plans. With experience and additional training, they can move into senior roles like Clinical Manager or Director of Nursing, overseeing entire teams and developing policies. Throughout their career, Home Health CNAs can develop skills in patient assessment, wound care, medication management, and communication, as well as leadership and management skills, ultimately leading to opportunities in healthcare management, education, or specialized care settings.
