Dining Room Server / Waiter / Waitress / Wait staff

Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana is hiring knowledgeable, experienced, service-oriented dining room Lunch, Brunch and Dinner Servers. Experience in a full service restaurant is needed.

Prior experience as a server, waiter, waiters, wait staff, runner, restaurant crew member, restaurant team member and other part time FOH restaurant jobs highly desirable.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Ability to make guest recommendations through knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer and a la carte food service Serving full menu and bar including wine and specialty cocktails.
* Communicating orders clearly with the bar staff and kitchen
* Continuous table maintenance
* Delivering drinks and food correctly and efficiently Closing out checks and reconciling cash in a timely fashion
* Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Maintaining a positive teamwork attitude
* Communicating clearly, professionally and respectfully Monitoring guest satisfaction
* Being able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
* Having a flexible work schedule including weekend availability
