The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated RN/ Infection Preventionist / Staff Development

What You Will Do

  • The Infection Preventionist must utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess resident status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and develop and implement resident care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.

  • The Infection Preventionist administers and documents Resident immunizations

  • The Infection Preventionist monitors, documents and reports on antibiotic use

  • The Infection Preventionist monitors, documents and reports on Bowel & Bladder program

  • The Infection Preventionist makes rounds to ensure compliance with Infection Control standards and policies.

  • The Infection Preventionist participates in Quarterly QAPI meetings

What You Must Have

  • Active RN/LPN license in good standing in the state of practice.

  • Formal working knowledge; Infection Control experience Required

  • Prior experience as LTC RN/LPN preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must complete Infection Preventionist course within 3 months of hire
