Job Description - Data Scientist (Contract-Based)
Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Data Scientist for a contractual
position to join our MedTech Supply Chain team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead key initiatives, at times including leading a team of scientists to
craft, develop, and evaluate innovative machine learning and deep learning
models to solve diverse challenges and opportunities across J&J
Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and implement multi-year must-win ML-based
digital product following business priorities of various segments and
functions.
Work closely with the product management team and business partners to
develop products and technical road maps for the company.
Education:
Advanced Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related
technical/scientific field
Experience and Skills:
Required:
MS with + 2 years of proven experience in data science and building large
scale ML models and/or systems in cloud environment.
Proven scientific and hands-on background in Forecasting Time-Series,
Classical ML, Deep Learning
Strong coding and problem-solving skills in Python and other programming
languages
Preferred:
Experience in multi-functional projects and partnering with business.
Experience with Demand/Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory Management
and Supply Chain concepts.
Experience with Reinforcement Learning
