Job description
Full Visibility is seeking a Database Engineer to work in Quantico, VA. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance. The Database Engineer will be responsible for providing database development, management, and administration support for MySQL and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) database systems across multiple environments, including production, development, and testing environments. You will troubleshoot, test, debug, and refine database platforms. Provide reports development, systems updates, and recommend enhancements.
Requirements:
- Active Top Secret Clearance; This position may require the successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree or higher (additional exp in lieu of a degree considered)
- 5+ years of experience working with enterprise level management of systems and servers
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with data security, data integrity, and data availability
- Knowledge of MongoDB or CassandraDB and/or MySQL
- Willing to work onsite in Quantico VA
- Preferred: Experience with managing MongoDB databases using OpsManager
