Location: Alexandria, VA Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SQL DBA/Developer with strong database development and administration expertise. The ideal candidate will be proficient in writing complex SQL queries, managing SQL Server environments, and supporting mission-critical systems in a secure DoD environment.

Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.
โ€ข Develop, modify, and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
โ€ข Troubleshoot performance issues using SQL Profiler and other monitoring tools.
โ€ข Analyze and resolve deadlocks and blocking issues.
โ€ข Create and manage SQL Server Agent jobs.
โ€ข Perform SQL Server installation and configuration, including instance setup.
โ€ข Implement and maintain STIG compliance (Security Technical Implementation Guides).
โ€ข Manage database backup and restore operations.
โ€ข Configure and support SQL Server Always On / Availability Groups.
โ€ข Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
