Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assure our restaurants' continuous supply of products and services while maintaining optimal costs and consistent quality, service, and performance expectations.
  • Accurately forecast, plan, and monitor the cost of goods and services spend.
  • Develop and execute product and service category strategies, focused on creating and developing vendor proposals for products and services, focusing on optimal costs, quality, and operations function.
  • Maintain relevant knowledge of short/long-term related commodity markets and industry trends that affect products and services supply and innovation.
  • Execute accurate data on changing costs, identify and forecast quickly and efficiently, minimizing risk to plan spend
  • Manage sourcing, purchasing, and distribution activities supporting core menu activity, tests, new products, and LTO promotions, minimizing supply risk and obsolete inventory
  • Lead, manage and support new restaurant opening activities for the Supply Chain Management team
  • Develop, collaborate and maintain positive, productive relationships with all cross-functional internal and external customers, sharing and learning best practices
  • Lead a team of direct reports as assigned to execute supply chain activities for both operations and our support center
  • Support as directed by VP of Supply Chain as needed, including the ability to perform other projects as assigned

Education, Experience & Travel Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant restaurant supply chain management, food service or retail food manufacturing, or other food service disciplines.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, as needed.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and able to leverage effectively

Physical Demands

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Travel by automobile and airplane, and stand prolonged work hours. Must have a high level of endurance, mental acuity, and toughness to manage conflict and deal successfully with high-stress situations.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance are available for full-time, hourly Team Members on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additionally, company-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability are provided where allowed.
