CNC Machinist Programmer - $20+, full time hours, job stability, great opportunity with a great company!

We are seeking a highly experienced and talented CNC Machinist Programmer that takes pride in his/her workmanship and professionalism.

The CNC Machinist Programmer duties:

Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, editing and operating a CNC Mill and/or Lathe Machine
Produce first-run, prototype and production parts
Read and understand CNC programs, layouts and blueprints
Inspect machined parts
Maintain quality and safety standards
Maintain equipment and supplies
Complete daily production/quality logs

What we are looking for in a candidate for the CNC Machinist Programmer:

The right candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude as well as a strong attention to detail. They will have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, and will also be able to work well with a wide range of people and demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.

Specific qualifications for the CNC Machinist position include:

Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Machinist
Ability to program CNC Mill and/or Lathe, both a plus
Ability to setup and operate vertical machining centers and turning centers
Ability to select and setup proper cutting tools as specified in CNC programs
Ability to read blueprints and perform advanced shop math
Ability to meet +/-.0005” tolerances
Ability to read and manually edit G-Code programs
Ability to use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) as needed
Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a Permanent Resident Green Card
