Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience building applications in Java (Spring Boot), microservices, and other open-source technologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of multithreaded applications (must-have).
- Excellent design skills, including design patterns.
- Experience creating and consuming RESTful services and SOAP-based services.
- Object-oriented design and development experience in Java.
- Excellent PL/SQL skills with strong database expertise (preferably DB2, SQL Server) to design new or alter existing table structures per specifications.
- Experience in test-driven development and continuous integration models.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Secondary/Desired Skills:
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Camel, and other languages like Python and Perl.
- Working experience with agile methodologies.
