Empath Personal Care, a part of Empath Health, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aides to provide personalized care to clients in their homes across Port Charlotte, Venice, and North Port. What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities in patients' homes.
- Support clients' comfort, dignity, and independence through individualized care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated service.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff.
- Travel within the assigned service area to deliver care as scheduled.
What You'll Need
- HHA Certificate (40+ hours) or CNA license preferred.
- CPR certification (in-house classes available if needed).
- Minimum of six (6) months of healthcare or home health experience preferred — free training available for new caregivers.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. and communicate effectively in English.
- Valid Florida Driver License, proof of auto insurance, and ability to travel within the service area.
PRN Commitment: 48 hours per month and at least two weekend shifts per month. No experience? No problem!
