UX Designer

Location: Chicago, IL(Hybrid)

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in UX/UI or digital product design
  • Proficiency with design tools: Figma, Sketch, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design (UCD), information architecture (IA) , and interaction design
  • Proven ability to design for: content hierarchy, navigation systems, and conversion flows
  • Demonstrated experience applying accessibility standards: WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Capable of producing development-ready designs (wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI)

Soft Skills (Communication/Collaboration):

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions
  • Experience working in a product-led, cross-functional environment (with Product Managers, Technology, Web Experience, Digital Strategy, Marketing, Creative, and Analytics teams)
  • Ability to conduct usability testing, user interviews, and design validation

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have, not required):

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices (how UX supports discoverability)
  • Experience with CMS-driven, template-based websites
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience working with or contributing to a design system

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our Digital Product Management team within Marketing, supporting the design and optimization of our public facing website and digital marketing experiences. You will focus on creating intuitive, accessible, and high performing experiences for external audiences, with an emphasis on content clarity, conversion, SEO informed design, and scalable delivery.

Job Description

  • Web Experience & Marketing UX Design: Design user centered experiences for public facing website pages, templates, and conversion flows. Create user journeys, site flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity UI designs.
  • Conversion, SEO & Optimization: Design experiences that support engagement, lead generation, and conversion goals. Partner with Digital Strategy, Marketing, and Analytics teams to incorporate performance data.
  • Research & Validation: Conduct usability testing, user interviews, and design validation for external audiences. Translate feedback into actionable design improvements.
  • Product Led & Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to align designs to product goals. Partner with Technology and Web Experience Management teams to ensure designs are feasible and scalable.

Quality, Accessibility & Consistency: 

Apply design system standards and brand guidelines. Ensure designs meet WCAG accessibility standards and ADA compliance.

  • Work on high visibility, public facing digital experiences
  • Collaborate closely with Technology, Web Experience Management, Digital Strategy, and Creative teams
