Digital Consultants is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join our team. As the SharePoint Developer, you will provide technical services in developing custom workflows and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within SharePoint to accommodate service requests from SharePoint customers. This work is performed under the supervision of more senior personnel.


Duties to include:

  • Provides technical services in developing custom workflows and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within SharePoint to accommodate service requests from SharePoint customers. This work is performed under the supervision of more senior personnel.
  • Troubleshoots and debugs applications and application components.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and clients to define, design, and deploy applications and enhancements that meet the needs of the company, its clients, and end users.
  • Configures a design that satisfies business requirements and desired specifications, including performance and security requirements.
  • Researches, evaluates, and implements new technology to optimize application efficiency, reliability, and usability.
  • Maintains records to document technical and functional developments and revisions as well as document libraries and site collections.
Requirements:
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated background investigation (BI) conducted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The level of the BI for this work is Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology OR 4 years Experience in lieu of education
  • At least 3 years experience as a SharePoint Developer
  • Familiar with the following development technologies and strategies:
  • Microsoft SharePoint Online Services
  • Microsoft SQL Server Technical Services
  • Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, PowerApps)
  • Change and Configuration Management
  • Introduction to site publishing for designers and developers in SharePoint Online
  • Using Power Automate, Site Templates, MS best practices for large organizations
  • Managing all Phases of Content Lifecycle
  • Authoring, design, and branding in SharePoint
    -Design Management
    -Custom Code using PowerShell, .NET server, .NET client, Silverlight and JavaScript libraries
    -Design and deploy provisioning governance site and auditing capabilities
    -Develop site owner console to assist with records management and Bureau assignment of orphaned SP sites
  • Publishing sites, client object model programming, and the new SharePoint app model
  • .NET client object model for app development
  • Surveys, account management and eCommerce support integrating social features and external data into publishing websites
  • Page model for publishing websites
  • Master pages, page layouts, and other components that render your site structure, content, look and feel, and behavior.
  • Master pages and page layouts
    o Shared Structural elements
  • Client-side rendering controls
    o JavaScript, CSS, and template display technologies
  • Sites and mobile devices
    o Published websites optimized for mobile development
    o Channel assignment
  • Term store and metadata management within SharePoint Online
  • Records management and Sensitive Information protection in SharePoint Online
  • Excellent Oral and communication skills
  • NET Technologies such as ASP.NET, WtCF, WF, EF, and C#
  • Understanding of Database Technologies such as SQL Server, Dataverse, Oracle, SQL Queries, and Stored Procedures
  • Understanding of Server Technologies such as Azure Active Directory, Dataverse, DNS, Certificates, and Hyper
  • Understanding of Web Server Deployment related to IIS, AppFabric and SharePoint Online
  • Ability to work with Business Connectivity Services, Master Pages, Apps, Page Layouts, User Stories, Web Parts, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Teams, and Azure Active Directory
  • SharePoint Online along with O365 / Office 365, SharePoint Object Model (OM), SharePoint Designer, Visio, Visual Studio, PowerShell, .Net, C#, Azure Automation, and HTML5/CSS experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming
