PRN Dental Hygienist — Make an Impact, Keep Your Flexibility

Location: Gentle Dental in Allentown, PA

Position Overview:

Gentle Dental in Allentown, PA is looking for a confident, patient-first PRN (as-needed) Dental Hygienist who loves walking into a schedule with purpose and walking out knowing they made someone’s day better. If you’re craving flexibility, great pay for your time, and a role that fits your life (not the other way around), you’ll find what you’re looking for here.

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional hygiene care, prophys, periodontal assessments, patient education, and prevention-forward coaching. You’ll collaborate with a supportive clinical team that values communication, positivity, and doing the right thing for every patient, every visit.

As a PRN Hygienist, you’ll support our offices on an as-needed basis (with the ability to travel between nearby locations.) That means you can pick up shifts that match your availability, build variety into your week, and enjoy the freedom of PRN work. We pair modern technology with a comfort-first approach, creating a feel-good dental experience that patients (and clinicians) genuinely appreciate.

Why you’ll love PRN with us:

  • Work-life balance, your way — choose the days you want to work and keep control of your schedule.
  • Competitive PRN pay — earn strong hourly compensation for the shifts you take.
  • Variety without the job-hopping — meet new patients, support different teams, and keep your skills sharp across multiple locations.
  • Low-commitment flexibility — ideal for caregivers, students, semi-retired clinicians, or hygienists building a second income stream.
  • Supportive culture — step into an organized practice with clear expectations, teamwork, and respect for your time.
