Location: Remote - United States

The Dell Security & Resiliency organization manages the security risk across all aspects of Dell's business. What you'll achieve

You will:

  • Participate as a key Security Consultant on various programs, project & initiatives across Dell providing security guidance & direction while ensuring adherence to Dell's security policies & standards
  • Define security requirements while engaging directly with stakeholders within Dell's Business Units and the SRO Pillar organizations to ensure products, services and solutions are designed to adhere to Dell's security policies and standards
  • Design the implementation of infrastructure, applications, monitors, security controls, and other project deliverables based on cybersecurity standards, policies, and requirements
  • Confidently and effectively present complex technical topics and risks to Executives and to non-technical audiences
  • Manage customer-related escalations and lead their resolution

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of IT systems, domains, enterprise applications, DNS, and Networking
  • Functional knowledge in one or more cybersecurity technologies. For instance, enterprise end-point security products (i.e. Virus Scan, Anti-Spyware, Host Data Loss Protection, Endpoint Encryption, etc.) Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, firewalls, Web Proxy, and E-Mail and Web Gateway.
  • Customer-oriented with a strong interest in customer satisfaction
  • Able to effectively perform knowledge transfers and train peers regarding areas of expertise
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. With emphasis on technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical teams
  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly with or without formal training
  • 10+ years of experience working in a large technology firm with a global footprint
  • 8+ years of experience working with cybersecurity teams
  • Ability to lead and influence a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred and 8 years' experience. Equivalent work experience can be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Individuals with CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certifications preferred
