Overview

We are looking for an AI Engineer with strong Java development skills to design, build, and support AI-driven solutions and enterprise use cases. This role focuses on integrating AI/ML capabilities into scalable backend systems and supporting production-ready AI applications.

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement AI/ML-based solutions and enterprise AI use cases
  • Build and maintain Java-based backend services supporting AI applications
  • Integrate machine learning models and AI services into APIs and microservices
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and optimization of AI systems in production
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Contribute to generative AI and LLM-based application development initiatives
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of AI-enabled systems

Required Skills:

  • Strong AI/ML engineering experience with production application development
  • Advanced Java development experience in enterprise environments
  • Experience integrating AI/ML models into backend systems and APIs
  • Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, and NLP concepts
  • Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and cloud environments
  • Understanding of MLOps and model deployment workflows

Experience:

  • 5+ years in software engineering
  • 2+ years in AI/ML or AI application development roles
  • Proven experience building and supporting AI solutions in production

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
