Accounting Manager

Columbus (Powell area), OH

Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is looking for a full-time Accounting Manager in the Columbus, OH, area. We are looking for an accounting professional that is highly motivated with strong analytical skills.

This position will report to our Director of Finance, and duties will include:

Track financial status for projects and subcontractors

Prepare and analyze financial statements

Develop and monitor annual and monthly budgets

Assist with audit inquiries

Handle daily accounting functions in accordance with GAAP and DCAA principles

Develop monthly accounting reports for current tasks and review with the leadership team

Manage and maintain facility leases

401(k) administration and compliance

General ledger entries and various department reconciliations in Unanet

A/P and A/R

Payroll

Supervise accounting staff

Monitor vendor payment agreements

Assist in developing and implementing internal accounting controls and improving department processes

Requirements:

Financial, accounting, and management experience preferred.

Experience with basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel, WORD and PowerPoint

Knowledge of finance, budgeting, cost control principals, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Unanet helpful.

Defense government contracting experience strongly preferred.
