Job Description

We are currently seeking an Automotive Heavy Line Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul engines and transmissions on cars or light trucks. You will be working exclusively on engine and transmission repair. So please do not apply if you do not have engine and transmission repair experience.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair engine and transmission issues with cars or light trucks
Provide labor and time estimates for automotive heavy line repairs
Repair any outstanding vehicle issues at the customer's request, and conduct inspections to ensure that all repairs were done safely and effectively.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of each repair job for both the customer and the company's records.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years experience as an automotive technician or car mechanic
Knowledge of automotive diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
A high school diploma or GED equivalent
A valid ASE certification preferred
Extensive knowledge of automotive tools and vehicle diagnostics
