Forensic Nurse

on call/per diem position, nurse is required to respond to facility within 60 min. SANE nurses are specially trained in the medical, psychological, and forensic examination of a sexual assault victim. Will be trained on site, as well as required to complete continuing education and training through accepted medical forensic training centers within the first 6 months. Sane nurse will also be expected to testify in court regarding exams. Paid on call time plus per case rate.
Requirements- must hold a valid California Registered Nursing License, at least one year experience with direct patient care, and be able to work at least 5/24hr shifts on call per month.
