Job description
CentraState Medical Center currently has an employment opportunity for a CT Technologist. This role is responsible for operating CT scanners to image designated portions of the body. Additional responsibilities include mentoring and training students while fostering a cooperative learning environment.
Responsibilities- Prepares patient for examination.
- Performs CT scans on patients as directed according to established procedure.
- Assists patient after completion of examination in preparation for departure.
- Prepares room, equipment and materials needed for examinations, positioning aids for patient comfort and security and protective shields and apparel.
- Reviews images, documents completion of case, scans required documents and transmits to the Radiologist via PACS.
- Accepts verbal and telephone orders from ED Physician or APN for CT Brain Code Stroke Protocol.
- High school diploma or equivalent plus formal radiologic technology training at an AMA school. Additional on-the-job training in CT required.
- Previous Radiology Technician experience preferred.
- Previous CT experience preferred.
- NJ State License required.
- ARRT Certification required.
- CT certified or eligible for CT registry required.
- CPR Certification required.
- Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.

Compensation Range: $35.00 - $59.50 per hour
The compensation above reflects the established range from CentraState Healthcare System (CSHS) for this position at the time the job was posted. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range.
Additionally, the compensation range reflects base salary and does not include extra shift rates or incentives tied to quality, productivity, etc., as applicable.
