Part-time Barista

We are seeking an outgoing, confident, high-energy professional with a solid background in customer service and hospitality to work in our Pearl Districe location.

Requirements:

• -Minimum of 1 year experience in the food service / hospitality industry
• -Customer Service focused and solution oriented
• -Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast paced work environment
• -Willingness to work at other locations in Seattle are if needed
• -Ability to work a flexible schedule, multi-task, and adjust priorities based on needs and conditions
• -Food handler's card required
• -Knowledge of coffee equipment and Italian language and culture helpful

Job Responsibilities

Our retail cafés are the face of our business and the interaction most people have with our brand. In the barista role, you will prepare expertly crafted coffee drinks, develop relationships with customers, and help with the daily café operations.

Other Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers who walk through our doors
• Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and products
• Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items
• Taste all drip coffee and espresso to ensure it meets Caffè Umbria standards
• Contributes to a positive and supportive work environment
