Billet Health is seeking a compassionate Front Desk Receptionist for our Podiatry Clinic in Scottsdale!
Our dedicated, hardworking staff services all of Arizona, parts of Nevada and California, and now including New Mexico. Our team works with our patients to establish a trusted relationship for care continuum.
General Purpose:
Attend to patients on the phone and in person. Coordinate and organize appointments and documentation to facilitate the smooth running of the healthcare environment and support delivery of quality patient care.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Answering office phones, assisting the front desk in scheduling appointments and directing calls appropriately.
- Greet and sign patients in upon arrival, obtain insurance information, and any other necessary data.
- Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients.
- Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site services.
- Assists with taking patients vitals, medical history, current medications.
- Completes all necessary documentation in the patient’s medical record in accordance with practice’s charting policy.
- Prepares equipment and assists physicians with medical treatments, exams and medical procedures.
- Takes inventory of medical and exam room supplies, and stocks rooms in preparation for the daily work schedule.
- Arranges for specialized consultations and appointments for testing as ordered by the physicians.
- Coordinates and schedules patient surgeries, when appropriate.
- Coordinating with referring providers/specialists, as needed.
- Coordinating with various vendors such as DME and pharmaceutical reps, as needed.
- Assist in other functions of the physician practice, as needed.

Requirements:
Must have a minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a medical office, or two years of relevant work experience in lieu of completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
Must have experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR's) and proficiency in Protected Health Information (PHI) record keeping.
