OVERVIEW -
The Executive General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of their restaurant, and are salaried exempt employees. They are responsible for the ongoing development of their Management teams and staff to ensure his or her staff demonstrate initiative to become co-owners of the restaurant. It is important to listen and observe, to see the overall picture and to know when to step in and coach personnel that might need it. He or she must have a full knowledge of the Company’s operational standards and must be able to demonstrate and teach these standards to others. The Executive General Manager must be able to build a team that provides instant guest recognition, excellent service, top-quality food and clean surroundings. This team will then benefit the Company by producing satisfied guests, continuous sales increases and maximum profits.
