Q: What is the career path for a Dental Assistant?

A: A Dental Assistant's typical career progression involves starting as an Entry-Level Assistant, where they assist dentists and hygienists with routine procedures, then advancing to a Mid-Level role such as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA), where they perform more complex tasks and take on leadership responsibilities. Senior roles, like Dental Office Manager or Clinical Coordinator, often involve overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and implementing office policies.
