Job Site Job Lead

The role of Job lead is to be onsite and oversee a construction projects from start to finish. This is a bags-on position that requires the Job Lead to manage a construction crew, subcontractors and oversee the actual construction of a project. Working in close liaison with the Project Manager, the Job Lead will be responsible for materials acquisition, quality control, workload management and onsite health and safety.

The Job Lead must be well versed in all aspects of construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.

Responsibilities

· Reading and implementing architectural drawings

· Management of Lead Carpenters, Carpenters, on-site Labor, Subcontractors

· Performing Job Site take-offs

· Material acquisition

· Maintain, monitor and enforce jobsite health and safety including new Covid-19 Site Safety

· Working with an offsite Project Manager to coordinate internal resources and subcontractors to allow projects to be finished on time and on budget

· Ensure construction quality meets Batt + Lear’s expectations.

· Working with the PM, manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

· Establish and maintain relationships with Clients, subcontractors, vendors, and all others on site

· Support the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation.

· Records daily logs and delivers to Project Manager weekly at a minimum.

Requirements

· 5+ years of custom residential, new and remodel construction experience, T.I, & Commercial

· Comprehensive understanding of design and construction processes.

· Have a strong sense of pride in excellent workmanship

· Willing and able to work in the field

· Have basic computer skills (email, Microsoft word, cloud based file sharing)

· Have a clean and valid driver’s license

· Technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in construction.

· Excellent management and internal communication skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

· Conducts all project completion documentation as required.

Compensation: $30-$38 per hour DOE. Benefits include: PTO, Medical, 401K, + Education stipend
