Position: Restaurant Server

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 (plus tips)

Hrs: 30 hrs./week (approx)

Shift: Flexible work schedule (no late nights). Hours of Operation 10:00am-8:00pm

Artisan Plaza is a new and exciting destination restaurant and market venue. Were looking for restaurant servers to join our team! Candidates will staff the brick-oven Artisan Pizza cafe, offering the best traditional pizza within 40 miles of Cannon Falls, as well as our deli kitchen, which produces gourmet paninis, pizzas and cheese curds. Both are attached to a large, inviting patio and a retail gourmet meat & cheese market. Strong opportunity for advancement as we move closer to opening our full-service fine dining restaurant in the same building.

Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Restaurant Server to take orders and deliver them to our guests maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards. The goal is to accelerate our business development by providing customers with a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order

• Attend to customers upon entrance to the restaurant

• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages

• Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products

• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff

• Issue bills and accept payment

• Promote dedication from customers

Requirements

• Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience

• Customer-oriented approach and patience

• Problem solving and decision making skills

• Hands on experience in cashier duties

• Excellent people skills

• Responsible and trustworthy

• Attention to cleanliness and safety

• High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus

• And most importantly, be a TEAM PLAYER with a positive, friendly attitude.
