Pest Control Technician - Wildlife

Stark Exterminators is looking to hire a full-time Wildlife Technician to provide uncompromised service to Arrow's residential and commercial wildlife control customers through exclusion, trapping, and removal of wildlife. Exclusion includes sealing, caulking, or installation of sheet metal to soffits, gutter lines, roof ridges, vents, voids etc. This work is often done from rooftops or ladders and may require basic carpentry

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WILDLIFE TECHNICIAN

Your primary focus will be to identify, remove, prevent, or repair anything damaged by wildlife. Your first course of action will be to ask questions on the issue your customer is experiencing. Problem-solving will help you form an in-depth inspection of the customer's home to find the source of the issue. Your wealth of knowledge about wildlife will help you determine the best solution and explain to the customer your next steps. Upon the completion of your service, whether it be exclusion, trapping, or removal, you will be responsible for collecting payment due and proposing additional services that would benefit them. Your independence and accountability will help you as you run and schedule your own services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams
  • Able to pass internal technical exams
  • Possess a current Driver License's in the state where you work, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, and maintain a driving record consistent with company standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) workweek
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed
