Server Host

To be considered for this role, applicants must be willing to hold themselves to the highest ethical standards as well as completing the tasks they are assigned, to perform the duties required by their job, and to be present for their proper shifts to fulfill or further the goals of the company.

Aside from the basic principles of being an employee for Antonio's Restaurants, the specific duties this position will be responsible for include but are not limited to:

• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Explain to guests about menu items
• Clean and prepare the dining areas
• Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
• Manage guest expectations by relaying information regarding hours, wait times and specials.
• Answer telephones to provide establishment information and take party reservations.
• Set up and decorated menu marketing boards with current specials information and drink features.
• Stay on top of server availability and table turnover to make accurate decisions about seating locations.
• Accommodate guests with special needs, including accommodations for child seats and wheelchairs.
• Greet guests entering restaurant and gathered information to seat groups or place on waitlist, distributing pagers to waiting guests.
• Notify servers after seating parties in section for prompt service.
• Remove trash, spills and trays to keep areas clean and professionally organized.
• Verify adequate levels of supplies such as linens and trays and restocked low items.
• Carry dirty dishes to kitchen to keep dining areas clean and promote efficiency.
• Clear tables efficiently to maintain high turnover rate and minimize wait times.
• Perform other restaurant duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with guests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable Transportation
• Positive Attitude
• 4 Days of Availability with at least (1) weekend day.
