Job description

Amazon Legal is looking for a talented Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS) and Amazon Multichannel Fulfillment (MCF), a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com.
Key job responsibilities
- Counseling the marketing, sales, and business development teams on a broad range of commercial, licensing, technology, and regulatory matters.
- Structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial transactions.
- Providing day-to-day input on business and strategy, and resolving issues that arise in commercial relationships.
- Developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways, and building processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
About the team
The ASCS and MCF legal team is embedded within Amazon Legal and partners directly with business leaders to enable one of Amazon's fastest-growing service offerings. We operate at the intersection of technology, logistics, and commerce - helping businesses of all sizes and industries leverage Amazon's logistics network. Our team values creative problem-solving, a bias for action, and building scalable legal frameworks that keep pace with rapid business growth. We foster a collaborative environment where attorneys are trusted advisors, not gatekeepers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams
- Experience counseling on supply chain, logistics, or fulfillment services in a technology-driven environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
