Job description
The Trenton Thunder are looking for our Strike Sprinter for the 2026 season. Similar to MLB promos like Beat the Freeze, the newly redesigned Strike will entertain fans while performing the "Be Like Strike Race" in-game promotion. This promotion requires the performer to sprint while racing a fan on the field. Must be physically fit and in good health, being capable of sprinting around the warning track (approximately 250 feet). Mascot costume consists of a yellow bodysuit, shorts, and googles. Perfect for a young adult who ran track in high school or college.
The Be Like Strike performer would also be a part of the the Blue Crew, who are vital brand ambassadors for the Trenton Thunder! From the moment the gates swing open until the final out, our Promotions Crew executes all the exhilarating between-inning entertainment both on and off the field. Alongside Boomer, Cloudman, and Slice, you'll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable experiences!
We are searching for individuals 16 years and older who embody fun, energy, an outgoing personality, and attention to detail and fan safety to join our exceptional team.
The Thunder Gameday Promotions Crew (Blue Crew) position includes the following functions:
- Learning how to execute our between-inning promotions and signing up fans
- Opportunity to perform as a mascot
- Other duties, as assigned
- Must be a team player
- Enthusiastic and creative attitude
Hours
- Gameday Promotions Crew should have great availability from the beginning of June to the beginning of September for all Thunder home games and other special events
- NJ State Minimum Wage
