ADP Technology Services, Inc. is hiring Senior Lead Application Developers in our Parsippany, New Jersey location.

  • Responsibilities. Responsible for driving change and technical innovation to build big data cloud applications supporting reporting, analytics, and machine learning in Agile environment using Big Data technologies, including Spark, Kafka, EMR, and Glue. Work with other team members to understand the business challenges and propose the best technical solutions. Design the best data lake platform automation to support data shape monitoring and end data delivery quality assurance. Design and implement statistical and machine learning methods to ensure data quality. Participate in performance tuning of Spark jobs for data profiling and implement notebooks and visualizations to monitor data and report anomalies. Create an end-to-end automated test suite for analytics production flow, from data ingestion to data and analytics ready to be consumed by customers.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
  • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, related Engineering disciplines, or related field of study plus six (6) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and four (4) years of related experience.
  • Work Experience. Four (4) years of experience must include: AWS S3; AWS Glue; AWS Athena and EMR; AWS cloud services, including EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, IAM, Security Group and VPC; Python; DLT pipelines or Airflow or DBT; Testing frameworks; Databricks notebooks (Jupyter); SQL; Data Pipelines with AWS services, including Glue, Step Functions, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway and AWS Secrets Manager; BitBucket; CI/CD workflows; Snowflake; Oracle, MySQL and Postgres; Jenkins; Terraform; CDK; and Boto3.
