Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with variable schedule
• On-call coverage required overnight and weekends on rotating basis
• 13-week contract assignment
• Float required to other units as needed
• Patient population includes congenital patients across all ages from neonates to adults
• Provide catheterization and electrophysiology care in congenital lab setting
• Must have proficiency in PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention), Impella, IABP (Intra-aortic Balloon Pump), and interventional cardiology
• Experience managing heart failure patients required
• Experience with temporary pacers and structural procedures such as Watchman preferred
• Peripheral experience preferred
• Required certifications: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Certification, BLS
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular technology or cath lab experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Proof of Florida state license required if ARRT certified
• Must complete seasonal influenza vaccination or exemption process
• No time off allowed during first two weeks of assignment
• Maximum 8 days time off allowed for 13-week contract
