Technical Product Manager Job Summary
We are seeking a talented, motivated individual to join our company as a Technical Product Manager. As part of our product development team, you identify and document customer requirements, oversee key aspects of the product development process, and provide leadership to and coordination between teams of engineering, marketing, and development professionals. You are a driver of the development process, correlating and synthesizing information and talents from multiple teams and departments in order to maximize efficiency and intelligent development processes. This is a senior role, and our ideal candidate has at least five years of project management experience, including a proven ability to lead teams and foster a collaborative environment.
Technical Product Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to product development teams
- Identify customer needs through workshops, focus groups, and research initiatives, sharing insights with key stakeholders and development professionals
- Define the product roadmap, incorporating feedback from executive leadership and marketing teams
- Remain involved in all stages of the product life cycle, defining and implementing refinements and upgrades to increase longevity
Technical Product Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- Five years in a product management role, with at least one year in a leadership or supervisory role
- A bachelor's degree in business, product management, or a relevant technical field
