Stockroom Clerk Job Summary
We are seeking a Stockroom Clerk to handle the reception and storage of our inventory. In this position, you will work in our storage facilities, unloading stock from trucks and moving it to the proper area. You are also responsible for maintaining organization so that other employees can find inventory for merchandising resets or to maintain stock according to their planogram. In some cases, you may assist them in stocking the showroom. Our ideal applicant has a background in warehouse work and experience with power tools and hand carts. Forklift experience is also beneficial.
Stockroom Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
- Unload, label, and store shipments of inventory
- Maintain organization within the stockroom
- Help store associates find the products they need
- Help stock the store when necessary
- Take regular inventory to ensure we have the appropriate stock levels
Stockroom Clerk Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Warehouse experience
- Forklift experience and license (preferred)
- Physical strength and stamina
