Stand Up Forklift Operator Job Summary
Our warehouse is looking for a Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for loading and unloading product in the trucking bay for the shipping and receiving department. You will work closely with inventory control workers to scan shipments and make sure we receive the right amount of certain products. When you find errors, you will report them immediately to the warehouse manager. All applicants must be licensed forklift operators and have some general warehouse experience.
Stand Up Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Unload products from arriving trucks
- Scan incoming inventory and report any errors
- Move stock from the bay to the appropriate section of the warehouse
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks
- Provide general support to the rest of the warehouse
Stand Up Forklift Operator Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Forklift operator's license
- Physical stamina and strength
- Strong organizational skills
- Warehouse experience, preferably as a forklift or pallet jack operator
