Our clinic seeks a speech-language pathologist (SLP) to work with clients to assess and treat various communication disorders brought on by developmental delays, stroke, autism, hearing loss, and other conditions. These may include social communication disorders, dysphagia, and cognitive-communication disorders, as well as issues with receptive and expressive language. Our ideal candidate has a master's degree in speech pathology and state-level speech pathology certification.

Slp Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with patients to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of communication disorders
  • Create specialized treatment plans for rehabilitation that address patient needs
  • Carry out these plans by performing related activities and teaching techniques
  • Assess patient progress and keep detailed records
  • Counsel family members or caregivers about relevant disorders
  • Work with other social workers, teachers, and pediatric physicians as needed
  • Complete billing information and fulfill other administrative tasks

Slp Requirements and Qualifications

  • Speech pathology certification (if required by state)
