Scaffold Builder Job Summary

Our company has an immediate opening for a Scaffold Builder. You will erect and break down temporary scaffolding and rigging for commercial and industrial projects. We prefer applicants who have completed an apprenticeship under a journeyman builder and worked in the field for several years, but we will also consider those who have a vocational degree and some construction experience or a background in carpentry. The ideal candidate must be proficient with standard power and hand tools and able to follow all industry-related safety regulations. All staff must complete OSHA safety training before starting work. You must also be comfortable working in high places and have the physical strength and stamina to work outdoors and standing for extended periods.

Scaffold Builder Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transport scaffolding materials to the job site
  • Read blueprints for scaffold projects
  • Construct and secure scaffolding around construction projects
  • Inspect your work for safety issues
  • Break down the structure once the project is complete

Scaffold Builder Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
