Salesforce Developer Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to design and deploy software solutions via the Salesforce CRM platform. These solutions should support our business functions while ensuring we meet the needs of our clients. In addition to maintaining our VisualForce and AppExchange pages on the Salesforce platform, you will help oversee the SOAP-based web services that we use to store and retrieve our records. While Apex is the proprietary language of the platform, we also expect candidates to be familiar with Java, JavaScript, and HTML.

Salesforce Developer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and deploy business applications using the Salesforce platform
  • Develop solutions to support business functions and meet client needs
  • Maintain VisualForce and AppExchange pages
  • Manage integrations
  • Oversee SOAP-based web services used store and update records
  • Utilize Agile software development approaches, such as Scrum

Salesforce Developer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field strongly preferred
  • Salesforce Developer or Administrator certification a plus
  • Salesforce Lightning experience
  • Software development experience
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, such as JavaScript
  • Familiarity with programming languages, such as Apex and Java
  • Analytical skills
