Registrar Job Summary

Our university is looking for a Registrar to support our administrative office. You will maintain and update records of our students, from their enrollment to the completion of their degree program or their transfer to another educational institution. Additionally, you oversee course scheduling and classroom allocation for the academic year, digitally publishing a detailed list of courses available in each program once finalized. You also prepare the academic calendar, outlining registration deadlines and school holidays. This position requires a degree in educational administration, experience in a university admissions or records office, and exceptional organizational skills.

Registrar Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain all student records in our information system
  • Manage enrollment/degree verification
  • Assist with course and classroom scheduling
  • Audit and publish the program schedule in all formats
  • Prepare and publish the academic calendar, including registration deadlines and school holidays
  • Prepare compliance reports, including National Student Clearinghouse and IPEDS

Registrar Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in educational administration, higher education, or a related field
  • Master's degree a plus
  • Experience in an admissions or records office preferred
  • Computer and technology skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Communication skills
