Ready Mix Truck Driver Job Summary
We are looking for a licensed Ready Mix Truck Driver to join our construction crew. In this position, you drive your truck while it mixes the cement and then disperse it at the job site. You are also responsible for automotive maintenance tasks, such as changing your oil or tires. While having experience in concrete work is not necessary, we do prefer that you have experience in a similar job, such as a tanker truck driver or any position in which you are responsible for hauling liquids. Of course, you must have either a CDL A license or a CDL B license.
Ready Mix Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities
- Load your truck with ready mix concrete
- Drive the concrete to the job site
- Help unload the mixed concrete
- Inspect your truck for mechanical issues
- Perform or outsource maintenance
Ready Mix Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
- CDL A or B license
- Trucking experience
- Concrete work experience (preferred)
- Strong hauling skills
