Quality Technician Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Quality Technician to help us ensure that non-conforming products do not continue through the production process and are not distributed to customers. In this role, you will conduct routine quality inspections throughout production, including in-process and final inspections. During these inspections, you will use a variety of precision measuring tools to ensure that products follow specifications. You will also perform equipment calibrations and perform workstation audits. Applicants should have some manufacturing or machine shop experience.

  • Perform equipment calibrations
  • Perform workstation audits
  • Maintain documentation of all inspections and potential issues
  • Assist with problem resolution
  • Suggest process improvements

Quality Technician Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Associate degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers
  • Attention to detail
