Our real estate company is seeking a Property Management Assistant to support the daily operations of our buildings. In this position, you will get signatures on lease agreements, schedule maintenance requests from tenants, and show units to prospective tenants. We prefer candidates who have experience in real estate but are willing to train the right person. You must be proficient with standard computer software, have data entry skills, and be familiar with real estate contracts and paperwork.

Property Management Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect signatures from tenants
  • Respond to maintenance requests and ensure buildings are in compliance with local codes
  • Forward invoices to our accounts payable department
  • Assist the property manager with any other tasks

Property Management Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma; associate degree preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience with Yardi and Microsoft Outlook
