Production Artist Job Summary
Our high-volume agency is seeking a Production Artist to help our art department create digital and print work on behalf of our clients. This is a collaborative position, so your tasks may change slightly with each project. On the projects you create, you will submit graphics, fonts, layouts, and other creative choices for approval. Other common aspects of this role include retouching digital images, proofing artwork before publication, and archiving drafts in our system. Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite is required. Applicants must submit a portfolio of graphic design work to be considered.
Production Artist Duties and Responsibilities
- Create digital and print artwork on behalf of various clients
- Approve graphics, fonts, layouts, and other creative choices
- Retouch digital images
- Proof files before print
- Archive digital and print files in our system
- Adhere to brand standards and style
Production Artist Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator required
- Pre-press experience preferred
- Basic writing, communication, and grammar skills
- Deadline-oriented
- Strong attention to detail
