Procurement Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our company as a Procurement Coordinator. As part of our team, you will manage raw material procurement processes for the whole of the organization, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery. You will liaise with vendors, establishing strong working relationships and comparing materials prices and attendant services to pursue the most profitable course in line with business objectives. Our ideal candidate is an expert with SAP PIR and possesses excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Procurement Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee raw materials procurement processes, ensuring appropriate remittance and delivery
  • Build relationships with existing vendors and identify new vendors to service emerging needs
  • Identify procurement processes to be improved or made more efficient
  • Create and oversee KPI tracking and reporting
  • Work with project managers to ensure materials availability

Procurement Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in procurement, project management, or a relevant logistics role
  • Strong SAP knowledge and experience
  • An analytical, problem-solving personality with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors
  • Experience with data entry, database management, and reporting and compliance
