Portfolio Analyst Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our financial consulting firm as a Portfolio Analyst. As part of our team, you work closely with clients to determine the strengths and weaknesses of their existing investment portfolio, making recommendations for ways to limit risk and seize upon emerging opportunities. You stay abreast of financial market developments, investment trends, regulatory changes and requirements, and emerging markets and public offerings to maintain a broad range of options and recommendations for clients with varying levels of acceptable risk. Our ideal candidate has at least a bachelor's degree in finance or a relevant field, in addition to professional experience in a financial consulting role.
Portfolio Analyst Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with clients to develop a detailed understanding of their current portfolio's strengths and weaknesses
- Recommend strategies to limit risk and capitalize on new opportunities
- Provide a wide range of options to clients who may express differing degrees of acceptable risk
- Stay ahead of emerging market news, developments, and trends
