Policy Analyst Job Summary

Our firm is seeking a Policy Analyst to join our team. In this position, you will analyze and predict how a particular public policy from the state or federal legislature will affect the economy and other aspects of society. You are responsible for gathering data from various sources, including community committees, focus groups, and think tanks, drafting and editing a proposal on the potential impact, and offering advice on how different organizations can stay in compliance with the new legislation. Our ideal applicant has a master's degree in economics or political science and some committee management skills. Since you may be privy to sensitive information, you will need to have or be able to obtain and maintain a top-secret security clearance.
