Picker/Packer Job Summary
Our company is searching for a Picker/Packer to help us with our shipping and receiving operations. In this position, you will work in our distribution center, packing, labeling, and scanning outgoing shipments. Our ideal applicant has general warehouse or order picking experience. However, we will work with any applicants that have a strong work ethic and flexibility needed for this position. You also need to be able to work in a loud trucking environment when loading shipments.
Picker/Packer Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive orders for outgoing shipments
- Find the products on our warehouse shelves
- Pack the products and apply a label
- Scan the label and put the package on an outgoing truck
- Log orders to keep the inventory up-to-date
Picker/Packer Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
- Warehouse or assembly line experience
- A keen eye for detail
- Strong organization skills
