We are searching for a Pet Groomer to provide bathing and grooming services to our clients. In this position, you will wash each animal, cut their hair, and trim their nails. You must also keep your workspace clean and in compliance with all health and sanitation codes. While the majority of your work involves working with pets, you will also interact with customers, so hospitality or guest services experience is beneficial. You should also have certification or experience as an apprentice.

Pet Groomer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter appointments into our reservation management software
  • Bath each pet before moving them to the styling area
  • Trim the pet's nails and cut and style their fur
  • Keep all animals calm and comfortable while in the salon

Pet Groomer Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Grooming experience or a certificate
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience working with animals
  • Physical strength and stamina
